주제: The gap between rich and poor is growing. What problems does this create? What can be done to tackle them?

 

Intro

 

Nowadays, as modern society is developing, the gap between rich and poor is growing. It may seem that only some rich people have opportunities for success through their wealthy environments. Otherwise some poor people may seem that they are still not able to take proper educations, even health cares. I think that this obviously different environmental factors may cause of fixed socioeconomic status to both. Therefore, I believe that governmental supports of educations for poor people and discriminative income tax policy between poor and rich people may solve this problem.

I assure that educational difference basically influence to socioeconomic status of people. As technologies developed in this modern society, the importance of education and demands for educated workers are rising. However, graduating collage may request a lot of money. Therefore, I think that only some wealthy students are able to graduate their course without stressful environments. Because, for example, there are a number of university students who have excessive debts from their education cost in South Korea. Some of them are already abandon their studies because of lack of money. They can get only unskilled jobs because of their insufficient scholarship. Unskilled job may give them not enough money, and it may make vicious circle again. So I believe that every students who have proper potential and determined will for studies should take enough supports from government. It may give equal opportunities to every people as well as be a way out for poor people from their poverty.

On the other hands, increasing tax rate from rich people may be a one of solutions for decrease social gap between poor and rich people. I assure that if there are clear income redistribution policy like a Nordic social democracy, through the redistribution policy, poor people may get opportunities for their health care, living. I think that it may make narrow the gap between poor and rich people.

 

Conclusion

 

However indiscreet supporting may be waste of public finance and excessive redistribution might decrease morale of skilled labourers. But I believe that righteous governmental policies and social welfare policy may narrow the gap of rich and poor people. Moreover it may bring our society general prosperities.
