Topic: Stresses from work
Nowadays most people are working for their own purposes. Through those various purpose, people tend to be stressful within their working environments. However I believe that positive stresses could give us clear aims and they also would bring us personal developments.
Therefore, I think those positive stresses could bear another developing results and better performance in working. For example, I work as a chef in a bar. When I work at busy time, I take in pressure and feel stressful. But if I develop myself such as multi-tasking or more skillful to my work, I could reduce my stresses and be more skillful in my work.
On the other hand, I believe that modern people are suffering excessive or negative stresses from their work. For example, there was a social issue in South Korea that the suicide of telemarketer. She was actually in bad working environments which are violent complains from her customers and pressure for actual results from her job. Those stresses bring us only negative effects. So I think that we should avoid or control our stress from work even though we should resign from work.
I assure that there are both sides in stresses from work. Some positive stresses may give us actual purpose and energy for personal development. However the other stresses would negative influence such as psychic or physical diseases. So I think that modern people should distinguish and control stresses for their well-being in busy modern society.
